Khoury receives stolen Phoenician artifact retrieved by Canada

NNA – Minister of Culture Dr. Ghattas Khoury received on Wednesday from Ambassador Saad Zakhia the stolen Phoenician artifact since the year 2007, which was confiscated by the Canadian authorities and sent to Lebanon via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in accordance with international agreements.
Khoury thanked the Canadian authorities for their concern to retrieve the archaeological piece, which the Minister, on his part, handed over to the Director General of Antiquities, Sarkis Khoury.
